SoundBetter is a company that operates a platform to connect musicians with available working opportunities. It is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York City, United States. The company was founded in 2012 by Itamar Yunger and Shachar Gilad. SoundBetter is a company that participated in the 500 Startups Batch 8 cohort in January 2014. It was acquired by Spotify in 2019.

SoundBetter's platform connects musicians - such as instrument players, music producers, singers, songwriters - with working opportunities worldwide. In 2019, the platform's users originated from 176 countries. Musicians are able to register on the platform for free. Clients are able to find musicians by searching in SoundBetter's database, or by posting jobs on the platform. Job postings incur no cost to the clients, nor are they charged a fee when hiring from the platform. However, only users with a paid membership are able to apply for jobs posted on the job board. This paid membership tier is called Premium Providers, and it has a monthly fee. Additionally, both free and premium users, when hired from the platform, are charged with a 5% commission fee.
