OpenROV is a California-based technology company that designs, produces, and sells underwater drones and marine intelligence devices.

The company's underwater drone is called "Trident". It can dive to depths of up to 100 meters (328 feet) and travel up to 2 metes per second (or 4.5 miles per hour).It can go on dives that are up to three hours in length. The drone also has Wifi capabilities and can stream live video back to the user via the OpenROV cockpit application (which is available to Android users). This application has autopilot features that the user can utilize when the drone is under water.Various uses for the device include underwater exploration, examination of shipwrecks, and analysis of the conditions of habitats underwater.
