Skin cancer

Skin cancer is a generalized name for malignant skin epitheliomas.

Risk factors for developing skin cancer may include:

1) ultraviolet and ionizing radiation;

exposure to chemical carcinogens that come into contact with the skin;

2) smoking;

3) taking drugs that weaken the immune system (immunosuppressors);

4) family predisposition (genetic characteristics of the organism, including the presence of certain types of moles);

5) Moles that appear due to factors other than heredity;

6) Human papillomavirus
