Biography
He was born on July 20, 1949 in the village of Bikbulovo, Menzelinsky district.
In 1980 he graduated from the Kazan Conservatory in the class of Z.Hismatullina. In 1980-1988 he was a soloist of the Bashkir Philharmonic, in 1988-2010 – the Tatar Philharmonic.
Creation
The singer's repertoire is wide and diverse, including chamber and vocal music, arias from operas by Western European and Russian classics, vocal works by contemporary domestic and foreign composers. Among them are arias by Alfred ("La Traviata" by G. Verdi), Rudolf ("Bohemia" by J. Puccini), Lensky, Hermann ("Eugene Onegin", "The Queen of Spades" by P. Tchaikovsky), Levko ("May Night" by N.Rimsky-Korsakov), Jalil (opera of the same name by N.Zhiganov), Salavat ("Salavat Yulaev" by Z.Ismagilov); romances by M.Glinka, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov; Russian, Ukrainian, Italian folk songs; songs of Russian composers, etc.
Tatar ("Tugan tel", "Raykhan", "Kara Urman") and Bashkir folk songs ("Azamat", "Kara Jurga", "Ural", etc.) occupy an important place in the repertoire.
The singer actively promotes the vocal music of Tatar composers: S.Saidashev, J. Faizi, M.Muzafarov, R.Yakhin, A.Bakirov, S.Sadykova, R.Enikeev, R.Ahiyarova, M.Malikov, etc.
Outstanding natural vocal abilities (has a strong expressive voice that is rare in beauty) are combined with high professionalism.
R.G.Malikov actively performs concerts, records programs on audio discs. He tours in the country and abroad (Mongolia, Denmark, Germany, Peru, Finland, France, China, etc.).
