The main activities of the Institute include comprehensive development and testing on full-scale ground-based prototypes of new design, technological and technical solutions for advanced ship nuclear power plants, nuclear power plants and other nuclear facilities (UAE), their parts and systems. The Institute also participated in the development of the NPP project with the VVER-640 reactor.
