Remeeting

Remeeting is a company that has developed an automatic speech recognition interface. The company was originally founded in 2015 by Arlo Faria and Korbinian Riedhammer, in Berkeley, California.

The automatic speech recognition interface was created to provide transcriptions and analysis of multi-speaker conversations. The company offers onsite implementation for companies, and a consumer web app, as well as an application programming interface (API) for developers. The purpose proposed by Remeeting for their interface is to advance speech understanding for things such as business meetings.

The API, for developers, enables speech to text transcriptions, and is compatible with the IBM Watson services. Transcribing dual-channel conversations via telephone, and web-conferencing with multiple speakers are within Remeeting's capabilities. The software is charged at $0.01 per minute of use, but recognizes when a user is on hold or experiencing a break of silence, and won't be charged for these moments.
