Presearch

Presearch is a decentralized search engine that offers community members Presearch Tokens for their usage, contribution to, and promotion of the platform. Presearch provides different products with utility. Its search tool enables users to search the internet, and users can decide between searching on the default Presearch engine or switching to results from other providers. Presearch also provides search rewards to its users, by offering them about 8 PRE daily at a rate of 0.1 PRE for every search.

For advertisers, the platform created a Keyword Staking mechanism. Token holders are able to stake their PRE against particular words or search terms to display ads to users. When a user searches for a term, the algorithm shows the ad with the highest PRE staked belonging to this term. When there are no matches for a specific long-tail keyword, the algorithm breaks it down into individual words, then chooses the ad with the highest PRE staked on one word from the search query.

Additionally, Presearch provides a marketplace where PRE tokens are purchased. There are also mobile applications that users can choose instead of traditional search engines. The platform also offers a browser extension that allows users to search from their address bar using their web browser and utilizing Presearch as the default search engine.
