Praxis is a membership-based society involved in the construction of a crypto metropolis.

Praxis is a group of individuals building a city-cryptostate. The society is organized as a membership-based community. Interested parties are required to become members. Praxis members take roles to support the development of the proposed city, from the establishment of culture, to archaeological research, to visiting potential city sites, as well as designing the infrastructure. Before making applications, interested parties are asked to join the Threshold, an open forum in Discord. Individuals complete tasks for PRAX and a chance for membership.

PRAX is the society's point-based system. Members and Thresholders are required to complete tasks to prove commitment. Not much has been revealed about what the tasks pertain to. Completed tasks get a PRAX reward after approval. Individuals are required to provide evidence of task completion in the demonstration channel.

According to an introductory piece published by the society,

In 2019, it took a felt mandate from God to inspire people to build a city on a hill, in spite of the economic headwinds associated with building a labor market from nothing. There are many reasons to join Praxis... But the most important reason is this: to take part in a grand historical narrative to bring a moral vision for the future into being. This is your opportunity to join America in 1776... To live and walk within the bounds of our city is a privilege earned through action and dedication. For now, much of the information regarding Praxis Residency will remain a mystery to the outside world.
