Partiful

Partiful is an event-planning social media website. The New York City-based company was cofounded in 2019 by CEO Shreya Murthy and CTO Joy Tao. Partiful aims to aid users in planning parties and other social gatherings by allowing them to create an event page where guests can RSVP and interact with one another.

To organize an event using Partiful, users must register and create a free account using their phone number. Once registered, hosts can create a custom page for their event. Partiful allows users to choose from a selection of pre-made themes and effects when customizing their pages. Once events are created, hosts can use Partiful to send the event page link to contacts in their phone or invite guests from previous parties hosted on the app. Partiful collects guest RSVPs on the event page and creates an interactive chat where guests can post comments, photos, and GIFs. Partiful also sends out reminders via text message as the event date draws closer.

According to CEO Murthy, Partiful has raised $7.4 million over two funding rounds as of 2022.
