Nodes

Nodes is an education company founded by Prajakta Kulkarni and Sanket Inamdar in 2008 in Pune, India. The company is a human-centered design organization focused on improving humanistic skills through educational interventions such as the Nodes Platform. The Nodes Platform is a teaching-centered tool designed to enable users to teach new-age topics without prior knowledge. The Nodes platform is focused on universities and community colleges and has worked with over 5000 teachers, 150 institutions, and 2000 students. Partners include CIIE, 10,000 Startups, Product 10, Rebalance, and Educate Ventures Research.

Introduction to Nodes

Nodes works with three groups of people—authors, teachers, and students. Authors create the teaching workflows that they have expertise in, and teachers deliver the workflows to their students. The Nodes Platform is a workflow technology tool for knowledge influencers such as authors, experts, and celebrated teachers to build organized lessons with their successful teaching methods, models, and materials, and to share the lessons with other teachers easily, both locally and remotely. These workflows are published and available to be used by other teachers so that the methods of celebrated teachers can be shared and used by others.
