Nick Perumov (real name Nikolai Daniilovich Perumov; born November 21, 1963, Leningrad, USSR) is a Russian science fiction writer.
Citizen of Russia and USA, where he lives since 1998. He became widely known after his first publication in 1993 of the epic "Ring of Darkness", which is set in John Ronald Reuel Tolkien's Middle-earth. Currently, he is best known for the series about the universe "Ordered".
