Metabrain aims to build a multi-wave imaging technique to solve challenges with invasive and non-invasive neural interfaces and allow computers to read minds so that communication between humans and computers can be faster than typing or speaking. Their research is based on research from physics research institutes such as ESPCI ParisTech (école supérieure de physique et de chimie industrielles de la ville de Paris; The City of Paris Industrial Physics and Chemistry Higher Educational Institution) and ENS Physics Laboratory (LPENS) Laboratoire de Physique de l'Ecole Normale Supérieure.
