Mary was the daughter of Philip I of Castile and Joanna of Castile. She had various occupations, including Queen consort and regent.
Mary of Hungary was the founder of Mariemont, Belgium. She also owned the Arnolfini Portrait, Mariemont, and The Descent from the Cross (van der Weyden). She passed away on October 18, 1558, in Cigales.
