Lucky Block is a blockchain-based online lottery protocol. Established in 2015, the project is based on the Binance Smart Chain network. Lucky Block's token, LBLOCK, is a form of social cryptocurrency in which developers and non-profit organizations, not just the winner, receive incentives upon the distribution of profits. In February 2022, the project launched the second version of its network. It is compatible with Ethereum and is a gateway to the ecosystem of Ethereum assets, applications, users, and dealers.
Apart from the focus on digital entertainment, Lucky Block is involved with the crypto donation platform called The Giving Block and charities like the Red Cross in the United Kingdom, where the project is situated. Ten percent of the project's jackpot is stated to go to charity, and the players, token holders, and their Telegram community decide which projects to support.
The project sponsored boxers Dillian Whyte and Florian Marku, including Love Island celebrity Jamie Jewitt. They are brand ambassadors of Lucky Block and introduce their followers to NFTs, play-to-earn gaming, and cryptocurrency. Eight percent of every jackpot is set aside for marketing, with sponsorships from the non-crypto world. This means that jackpot winners get 70 percent of the prize pool. Token and non-fungible token (NFT) holders get tickets for an opportunity to win the jackpot without purchasing one to take part.
Commenting on the impending launch of the jackpot prize draws, the project's CEO Scott Ryder said:
"We have a breakthrough crypto that our team can be rightly proud of, as we set out to shake-up how jackpot prize draws are run, putting the players and charities front and centre. Also, now with a free-entry option, the jackpot draws will attract users to our wider games platform in droves. We look forward to the challenge of catering to these new crypto users and scaling up as we grow our other giveaway and Play-to-Earn games offerings. With a web app that includes fiat onboarding and a unique 'vote and claim' system, plus a free entry ticket for token holders, we think Lucky Block's first product has certainly been worth the wait."

LBLOCK is the native digital token of the project. It is a BEP-20 token. It is utilized for different purposes inside the Lucky Block system, such as the purchase of lottery tickets and the distribution of prizes. Since rewards are distributed in LBLOCK instead of fiat money, the jackpot distribution is streamlined.
LBLOCK holders who keep their tokens in a crypto wallet that is linked to the Lucky Block application will get incentives periodically. These rewards are dependent on the number of lottery participants. The strategy surrounds the reception of increasing passive income by LBLOCK holders as the Lucky Block platform grows. Lucky Block in a press release estimated that holders may get a yield of about 19.2% p.a. on their tokens.

One of the outlined development steps in the project's roadmap includes the launch of its NFT collection. This was done in mid-March 2022. The collection is referred to as The Platinum Rollers Club. The NFT collection is limited to about 10,000 NFTs and can be bought on the NFT marketplace NFT LaunchPad. Each NFT is a tokenized mp4 video, representing the 1:10,000 chance of becoming a winner in the NFT lottery. Lucky Block's NFTs have been minted on the Binance Smart Chain.

Buying Lucky Block on Pancakeswap can be done in the following steps:
- Connect wallet to Pancakeswap—If a user already possesses BNB in a wallet, such as Trust Wallet or Metamask, they can connect to the Pancakeswap exchange.
- Input Lucky Block contract address—In Pancakeswap, users will be asked which token they would like to purchase in exchange for BNB. They will then paste in the Lucky Block contract address.
- Enter stake—Users then input the amount of BNB tokens they want to swap for Lucky Block. The number of Lucky Block tokens will update, and it is based on the ongoing market price.
- Confirm purchase—After confirming the order, the Lucky Block purchase is executed if the user made no errors during the process.
- Add Lucky Block to Wallet—Some users may need to manually add Lucky Block to their wallet. This is done by the manual importation of the token through the Lucky Block contract address.
