Lethbridge Hurricanes

The team is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, and play their home games at the ENMAX Centre.

The history of the team began in 1967, when the Winnipeg Jets club was formed in Winnipeg, later called the Winnipeg Clubs and the Winnipeg Monarks. In 1977, the club moved to Calgary and became known as the Calgary Ranglers. Ten years later, the team relocated to Lethbridge, receiving its current name. Here, the Hurricanes replaced the Lethbridge Broncos club, which moved to Swift Current.

In 1997, the team became the winner of the Western Hockey League for the only time in its history at the moment, but in the final of the Memorial Cup it lost to the Hull Olympics club. In the 2007/08 season, the Hurricanes became the winners of their conference, however, they were defeated in the finals of the tournament.

Before the start of the 2013/14 season, the club had to change its logo due to complaints from the Washington Capitals, where it was reasonably stated about the almost complete similarity of the team's emblems
