Childhood and youth

The actress was born under the zodiac sign Aries on April 14, 1988 in the city of Korolev. Her real name is Kristina Myasnikova, and she took the surname Asmus from her grandfather, a German by nationality. Father - Igor Myasnikov, mother - Rada Myasnikova. Four children were brought up in the family, Asmus has sisters Karina, Olga and Ekaterina.

The Myasnikovs lived modestly at first in a communal apartment, then in a 2-room "Khrushchev". Remembering his childhood, the star says that sometimes there was only a jar of horseradish in their refrigerator, they had to endure and wait for their parents' salary.

As a child, Kristina Asmus' life was connected with gymnastics, where the girl reached the degree of candidate for master of sports. Her parents wanted to see her as an athlete, the girl herself dreamed of becoming an actress, and such a desire appeared after the series "Wild Angel" starring Natalia Oreiro.

And her sister Karina, who is 4 years younger than the actress, followed in the "sports footsteps" of Kristina. Today she is a master of sports of international class, works as a coach.

The family reacted with understanding to the daughter's desire. Already in her school years, she studied at a theater studio, where she played roles in the plays "Chalk" and "And the dawns are quiet here ...".

After graduation, Asmus entered the Moscow Art Theater Studio School for the course of Konstantin Raikin. Nikita Efremov, Pavel Priluchny, Ivan Makarevich, Aristarchus Venes, Karina Andolenko, Grisha Dobrygin and Anya Chipovskaya studied with her. In one interview, Kristina said that she got lost against their background and was expelled from the university.

The next 2 years of Asmus' biography were a time of constant searches and trials, the artist had to show character in order to overcome life difficulties. The girl got a job in 2 theaters, she even had to sell tickets in one of them, there was also an attempt to create her own agency for organizing holidays.

In 2008, she entered the M. S. Shchepkin Theater School (Boris Klyuev's course), which she graduated from in 2012. There, the actress immediately began to manifest herself and found herself in the leaders of the course. Currently, Kristina is playing at the Moscow Drama Theater named after M. N. Ermolova.
