Born on August 10, 1957 in Leningrad in the family of a student at the Leningrad Theater Institute, the future People's Artist of Russia Ivan Ivanovich Krasko (born 1930) and a school teacher Kira Vasilievna Petrova (? - 1997).
Andrei grew up as a sickly child, and in order to be with his son more, his mother, Kira Vasilievna, quit school and became a teacher in a kindergarten. Andrei performed his first role at a matinee in kindergarten. He was a bunny, and his father was Santa Claus.
The choice of a life path for Andrei was a problem - he alternately wanted to become either a firefighter, an astronaut, or a miner. In the end, a desire was formed to become an actor. He studied at the Leningrad Theater of Youth Creativity (TYuT) (1969-1974) at the Leningrad Palace of Pioneers under the direction of Matvey Dubrovin. The first attempt at admission was unsuccessful, Krasko was not accepted, as he was poorly prepared for the exams. For one season he worked as a scenery fitter in the theater. Komissarzhevskaya. A year later, Andrei entered LGITMiK, in the workshop of Arkady Katsman and Lev Dodin. In 1979, upon graduation, he was assigned to the Tomsk Theater for Young Spectators. Death
He died on July 4, 2006 at the age of 49 from heart failure[3] on the set of the film "Liquidation" by Sergei Ursulyak in Ovidiopol (Odessa region, Ukraine). According to Ursulyak, the attack was caused by an attempt to bring the actor out of a state of prolonged alcohol intoxication [4]. The funeral of the actor took place on July 7, 2006 at the Komarovsky village cemetery near St. Petersburg. For the role of Gennady Yanychar, Andrey Krasko was posthumously admitted to the St. Petersburg Navy Submariners' Club[5].
On July 4, 2007, on the anniversary of the death of Andrei Krasko, a black marble monument was prepared and erected at the cemetery in Komarovo with his portrait and the image of a submarine.
