An autoimmune disease is triggered by the immune system turning against the body it is designed to protect from invading pathogens. Pathologic immune cells attack the body’s own tissue, triggering a cascade of events that cause damage to the targeted tissue.
At JURA Bio, we are creating a novel therapeutic platform of cell therapies meant to target those pathogenic immune cells.
