Igor Borisovich Sklyar (December 18, 1957, Kursk) - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, singer, musician. People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
Born in Kursk in a family of engineers, he graduated from high school there (1975). During his studies, he sang and played the guitar in the school ensemble, went in for sports (table tennis, hockey, football, athletics, tourist all-around, boxing).
He has been acting in films since 1973. On the first role - Nikolai Maslenok in the film "Jung of the Northern Fleet" - he got quite by accident as a teenager: an assistant director from the Gorky film studio saw Igor on an excursion in the subway and invited him to audition.
Since 1983, he became an actor at the Leningrad Maly Drama Regional Theater and served in it until 2002. Here he turned out to be a complex, psychologically diverse, sharply dramatic video (the village fool in Brothers and Sisters by Fyodor Abramov, Fedka the convict in The Possessed by F. Dostoevsky, Jack Simon in Lord of the Flies by W. Golding).
All-Union fame brought a role in the film "We are from Jazz" in 1983 and consolidated the performance in 1985 of the song "Komarovo" in the film "Start Again" and the 16th issue of the animated series "Well, wait a minute!".
