Howard University

Howard University is a private educational institute located in Washington, D.C., United States. It was founded in 1867 by Oliver Otis Howard and operates in the higher education and university industries. The university's motto is "Veritas et Utilitas".

Howard University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, and the American Bar Association, Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar.
