H2nanO is a company that is innovating nanotechnology solutions in order to face environmental challenges. The company was founded in 2015 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

Destroying and eliminating difficult to eradicate contaminants that may exist in industrial wastewater is what H2nanO has centered their systems around. The treatments H2nanO's technology applies allows for water to be reusable and to catalyze to specific treatment chemicals, which mineralizes contaminants and thereby purifying the water.

Using an approach known as an advanced oxidation process treatment, they are able to recover and reuse nano-engineered catalysts that are introduced to the water. These nano catalysts are used to destroy hard-to-degrade dissolved organics such as petrochemicals, surfactants, solvents, dyes, polymers, as well as recalcitrant organics. Pharmaceuticals, pesticides, various forms of industrial waste, and endocrine disruptors also perish through this process. The steps that are included in the process are discharging and destroying toxins, enabling economical efficieny to increase for municipal and industrial processing, and remediation, or, cleaning the site.
