Grimace's Birthday

Grimace's Birthday is a 2023 promotional video game released by McDonald's, an American multinational chain of fast food restaurants. Developed by Brooklyn-based indie studio Krool Toys, the game was launched on June 13, 2023, to celebrate the fifty-second birthday of Grimace, a character from McDonald's fictional Ronald McDonald and Friends universe. The release of Grimace's Birthday also coincided with the Grimace Shake, a limited-edition purple milkshake sold at McDonald's restaurants and only available in the Grimace's Birthday Meal.

In Grimace's Birthday, users play as Grimace, who is throwing a birthday party at a McDonald's restaurant. In the game, Grimace must race to find all of his McDonaldland friends who have not yet arrived at the party: The Hamburglar, Birdie the Early Bird, and the McNugget Buddies. Players control Grimace through four levels as he collects Grimace Shakes and finds his friends along the way. Grimace's Birthday is playable on computers and mobile devices at the website grimacesbirthday.com. Additionally, if users download the ROM file from the game's website, Grimace's Birthday can be played on a Nintendo GameBoy Color.
