George Bonaci is an original co-founder of Pembient. He is the inventor of one of the first formaldehyde-free hair straighteners, which he sold to a large cosmetics company based in the United States. George’s formula is not a tissue fixer like common straighteners. Rather, it relaxes the disulfide bonds of hair without breaking and capping them. His formula is now used in 90% of hair straightening treatments, and it can be found in thousands of salons. George has a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Washington.
