Dutch civil engineer
George Arnold Escher (1843-1939) was a civil engineer and engineer from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Born in Leeuwarden on May 10, 1843, Escher spent his career working in his occupation in the field of engineering.
He was the father of M.C. Escher, a prominent artist known for his intricate tessellations and impossible constructions. George Arnold Escher passed away on June 14, 1939, in Arnhem.
