Genesis Institute

Genesis Institute is a financial training institute established in 2008. The institute is headquartered in Dubai and also operates in other parts of UAE such as Abu Dhabi. The institute is mainly known for its Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) training and review programs.

Before being a part of the institute, the Genesis Institute trainers have worked with other global brands including KPMG, Ernst and Young, McKinsey & Co. and Deloitte. The institute was founded by Binod Shankar and Mohit Malhotra.Binod is an experienced finance and accounting courses trainer and has been working in the field since 1996.

The institute trains all 3 levels of CFA with a CFA charterholder alumni of 100+ members. The institute is a CFA Prep Provider Guidelines Program (PPGP) compliant training provider, a global partner to distribute Kaplan Schweser CFA and CAIA study materials and also holds the IMA training provider license from IMA-Wiley. In its partnership with Wiley, Genesis started providing Wiley CMAexcel live courses in 2014. Apart from its partnerships to initiate various collaborations, it has obtained Approved Learning Partner status from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) which made Genesis Institute a CFAB tuition provider classroom.

In 2014, Genesis Institute partnered with NASDAQ Dubai Academy for a combined review program "Claritas Investment Certificate". In the same year, the institute also started offering executive education courses when it partnered with MENA Private Equity Association. Corporate courses are also a part of the institute's programs. These include CISI, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, FRM. Additionally, the institute provides soft skill courses, including those for banks, as a part of their training in order to teach interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills, among others, to the students. The executive education program includes Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, Financial Modeling & Valuation, Private Equity and M&A Financial Modeling, Financial Analysis Masterclass, Excel for Accounting & Finance Professionals, Capital Markets. These courses are modeled for offering a relevant range of courses that are able to offer necessary expertise to the students with methodologies such as use of pragmatic examples.

The institute has received diverse media coverage from channels like CNBC Arabiya, MBC in addition to radio and internet interviews of its founders who have also been cited as professionals in the field.
