Brigitte Smith and Geoff Brooke founded GBS Venture Partners in 1996. It invests in companies developing and commercializing biological or small molecule therapeutics, medical devices, and diagnostics products in Australia. Its previous funds include The Australian, Bioscience Trust , GBS Bioventures II , The Genesis Fund , and GBS Bioventures III .
