Einsteinium is to utilize emerging blockchain technology to generate funds for scientific research as a philanthropic organization. There are two ways this is accomplished. The first is through a mining tax (collected when new EMC2 are minted) which creates a pool of funds we can use to provide grants to applicants. The second is by maintaining a currency (Einsteinium or EMC2) which allows for a transparent and trustful way to support specific causes.
