East Tennessee State University

East Tennessee State University (ETSU) is a public university located in Johnson City, Tennessee, United States. Founded in 1911, it operates as an organization and educational institution in the fields of education, higher education, and university. ETSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, and the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET. The institution's motto is "Graduation Begins Today".

ETSU has affiliations with the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Tennessee Board of Regents, Oak Ridge Associated Universities, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association.
