Dutch trading company
The Dutch West India Company was a public company founded by Willem Usselincx and Joannes de Laet on June 3, 1621. It was headquartered in the Dutch Republic and had its main office in West-Indisch Huis, Amsterdam. The company was involved in trade and the Atlantic slave trade.
Heeren XIX served as the CEO of the Dutch West India Company, which operated under the parent organization, the Dutch East India Company. The company owned the Fort Ruychaver and was located in the country of the Dutch Republic.
