Denis Law is a former football player from the United Kingdom, born on February 24, 1940, in Aberdeen. He is known by the pseudonyms 'The King' and 'The Lawman'. Law holds Scottish nationality and played as a forward in the United Kingdom, mainly in England.
During his career, Law won numerous awards, including the Football League First Division, FA Cup, Charity Shield, Ballon d'Or, and European Cup top scorer. He was also recognized as a part of the World Soccer World XI and received various honors, such as Scotland's Golden Player, PFA Merit Award, and the Inaugural Inductee of the English Football Hall of Fame.
Denis Law also earned a place in the PFA Team of the Century, in addition to the Scottish Football Hall of Fame and the Scottish FA International Roll of Honour. The city of Aberdeen awarded him the Freedom of Aberdeen in recognition of his achievements in football.
