Demeter Partners is a venture capital firm from Paris, Ile-de-France, France that invests in companies within the eco-industries, eco-energies and modern-day hazards areas. Founded in 2007 by Sophie Paturle, it invests on seed, private equity, early stage and late stage ventures.

This company specifically provides venture capital and private equity to businesses in the energy sector and in ecological transition. They usually invest from €1m to €30m in all stages of business development as well as in startups, high growth small and medium enterprises and in infrastructure projects. It has signed many initiatives such as the PRI (Principle for Responsible Investment), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), iC20, The Shift Project and others.
