ChainlinkChainlink (or Link) is a decentralized oracle network and cryptocurrency that provides data to blockchains. It is one of the main sources of data used to feed information to applications in decentralized finance. During 2020, it grew to become the fifth largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. ChainLink is headquartered in the Cayman Islands and was founded in September 2014 by Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis. SmartContract is the parent company of ChainLink.
