Centriq

Centriq is a company that has created a platform that is meant to help homeowners interact with their home. The company was founded by James Sheppard and Shubber Ali in 2015, in San Francisco, California, United States.

Centriq has launched their home management app for their platform which allows homeowners to operate and maintain their home through their mobile device. The app requires the user to take a picture of their appliances in their home, and in return, the platform automatically provides manuals and related information sources regarding the appliance(s) to the app. Users can access troubleshooting and 'how-to' videos, information for replacement parts or supplies, warranty and repair support, and more.

The Centriq platform can be used for appliances, electronics, power tools as long as the item has a model number. It was designed to allow users to use only the model number of their item to find the specific repair parts and consumables, and be apple to purchase in the app. Recalls for products are constantly searched for and monitored for by the app, and and users are notified if a recall arises.
