Cellomat

Cellomat is an Israel-based technology company specializing in developing devices and machines for more sustainable use of mobile devices. It is the company behind RE-Refurbished Smartphones Revolution, the company that actually distributes its product. It was founded in 2011 and launched its first prototype of its cell phone repair and purchasing point vending machine in 2012. Its product is often likened to an automated teller machine (ATM), but for smartphone services. These machines can be found in shopping malls and service centers in locations such as Finland and Spain.

Cellomat develops products and solutions so its smartphone repair and vending machines can function. It develops the machines themselves as well as cloud services that use algorithms to determine the device's condition through image analysis.

Cellomat has partnered with Swappie, a phone refurbishing company based in Finland, to distribute its machines. Cellomat produces the machines while Swappie handles the logistics.
