Canaccord Genuity

Canaccord Genuity is a Toronto-based financial services company with a focus on entrepreneurial investments. The company is a division of Canaccord Genuity Group, Inc. and was formed from a merger of Canaccord Adams and Genuity Capital Markets. It is one of various divisions for the group, which also includes a wealth management division. In addition to its Toronto offices, it also has locations in London, Edinburgh, Boston, Vancouver, New York, Calgary, San Francisco, and Houston.

When the two companies merged, they had completed more than 400 equity offerings in 2009 with proceeds of more than $47 billion. In the same year, the company advised on more than 50 transactions valued at over $5 billion.
