Arthur Andersen

Arthur Andersen is an American audit company, one of the world's largest in its time (he entered the "big five" audit companies). Headquartered was located in Chicago. ENRON bankruptcy in December 2001 led to a criminal investigation against Arthur Andersen. The decision of the Company's court was prohibited to conduct an audit of financial reports of companies registered in the Commission on Securities and Markets, and the company ceased to exist.
