Arraystream is a London based financial technology company which provided artificial intelligence services to manage mutual funds. The company dissolved on 22nd May 2018.
Arraystream’s artificial intelligence technology sought to re-energize the active mutual funds market by maximizing the probability to beat the market index. The technology adapted to the changing market by using dynamic signals from market information, and composite signals like GDP and company news to predict profitability. The signals had different levels of priority which reflected strength in the profit predictions. Arraystream also used a different approach to diversification by utilizing polymorphic diversification along with conventional assets, sector, and the region as variables.
Ran Fan and Yu Zheng founded the company in 2017 and incorporated it on 22nd May 2017. The company was headquartered in London, England. Yu is a Ph.D. graduate from Imperial College in London with expertise on machine learning, option pricing, and portfolio creation. Ran has had built a real-time trading system for companies like Goldman Sachs and Aspect Capital.
