Zeta Energy is a technology company developing batteries based on lithium, carbon, and sulfur. The batteries do not use cobalt, nickel, manganese, or graphite and are sustainably manufactured. The company aims to provide low-cost and sustainable batteries as a way of addressing climate change and democratizing energy production. Funded in 2014, Zeta Energy is headquartered in Houston, Texas with an additional office in München, Germany. Charles Maslin is the founder and executive chairman of the company, and Tom Pilette is the current chief executive officer.
