Zenome is headquartered in Moscow, Russia, and was founded by Alex Gorbachev and Nikolay Kulemin in 2017. Zenome is a blockchain-based ecosystem for the sharing of genomic, personal, and financial data. The Zenome ecosystem is a peer-to-peer marketplace for genomic data and other medical information that can be used for scientific or private research purposes.
Zenome offers a genetic test for its customers that uses Next Generation Sequencing technology to produce raw genetic data. Raw genetic data is analyzed and organized into a genetic report that offers the customer insight into how their genome influences their health, such as: inherited diseases, health conditions, drug responses, oncogenetics, diet & metabolism, cosmetology, sports performance, and ancestry. Raw genomic data and the generated health report can be monetized by the customer if they choose to share their genomic data on the Zenome block-chain based marketplace.
