Z Imaging is a company focused on the improvement of Image-Guided Medicine and Radiology with the use of augmented reality technology.

Products and technology

Z imaging allows users to see a CT or MRI overlaid onto a patient in real time and with sub-millimeter accuracy. No markers or manual registration are needed. Z imaging believes the image guidance makes surgeries safer and more effective. Z Imaging also allows users to track catheters, needles, and other instruments throughout a procedure.

Z Imaging created a software development kit (SDK) called Zeta that enables developers to build custom augmented reality tools to fuse 3D images with objects in the real world.

Support

Z Imaging has participated in Y Combinator and Harvard Innovation Labs. Y Combinator, Orbita, and Plug and Play contributed to Z Imaging's pre-seed round in May 2018.
