Beijing based Yuanming Capital is a private equity based, venture capital firm. The Chinese fund specializes in healthcare industry investments in the United States and China. Yuanming Capital backs healthcare service providers and biotechnology companies in the therapeutic development, diagnostic, and medical device sectors.
History
Yuanming Capital was co-founded by Tina Yu, Lawrence Tian, Ming Jiang, and Fiona Gong. The founding partners also established the Sino-US Alliance for Healthcare Investment. In 2015, the firm led investments in the $200 million funding round of radiation therapeutic equipment device company Mevion.
