Visvesvaraya Technological University

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is a public educational institute located in Belgaum, India. It was founded on April 1, 1998 and operates in the fields of education, higher education, and university. As an organization, it is known by the Kannada alias "ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ".

Visvesvaraya Technological University is accredited by the Council of Architecture and the University Grants Commission of India. It is affiliated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Association of Indian Universities. The institute's motto is "Become a human being first".
