VR Future

VR Future is an Istanbul-based technology company that has developed an NFT collection for a virtual reality (VR) entertainment platform. It is hosted on the Ethereum blockchain, and the company has the stated goals of building VR content, hosting international festivals and exhibitions for the content, and developing educational workshops to engage more users in the company's vision.

VR Future held a launched event for the platform in Istanbul in 2021. The Genesis NFT collection was available for mint and sold out. The collection held 7,777 NFTs that resemble humans, aliens, and droids that are intended to be used to unite against the Ancients in the metaverse. The NFTs are designed to be unique based on different combinations of traits, such as background, accessories, hair, clothes, and more. The company makes a limit of ten mints per wallet, and members of the VR Future community that aided in building its Discord were eligible for early minting for the Genesis collection.

There is also a VR Future app, which is for holders of the company's NFTs. The app can be used to participate in competitions to win prizes, such as VR headsets, merchandise, international trips, and access to festivals.
