University Growth Fund

University Growth Fund is a Utah based student-run venture capital fund created to give students real-world experience of venture capital investments. Peter Harris and Tom Stringham founded the company in 2015. The firm operates in Salt Lake City, Utah, and San Diego, California. It aims to invest in companies in multiple sectors, including consumer products, consumer tech, semiconductors, and enterprise software. Its portfolio includes companies like 23andme, Airbnb, Canopy, and Consens.us.

The firm also provides an educational platform where it provides hands-on experience of investing real money and working for a venture capital firm. Selected participants get four-month of investing and entrepreneurship guidance and supervision by the members of the fund.
