Tokyo Metropolitan University

Tokyo Metropolitan University, known as 首都大学東京 in Japanese, is a public educational institute located in Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan. This organization, which is part of the higher education and university industries, was founded in 2005. Its motto is "To pursue the vision of an ideal human society in a metropolis".

The university is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, as well as the Japan University Accreditation Association. So far, Tokyo Metropolitan University has had 6 patents assigned to it.
