Thread

Thread is a developer of an enterprise-level incident management tool developed to help users identify root causes of incidents and thereby allow users to resolve those issues faster. This includes a platform that provides occurrence management to help businesses with incident routing protocols. Thread was founded in 2023 by Harsha Vankaylapati, Yuheng Wang, and Akeem Williams and is headquartered in San Francisco.

Thread's platform offers assistance with the development cycle using a design intended to help non-technical users understand the production environment, and those non-technical users can understand the context of the technical environment. The platform allows developers to onboard new services into the production environment. And in the case of incidents, Thread's platform automatically routes incoming incidents to the appropriate team or individual and allows developers to customize rules to route incidents based on severity, type, and urgency.
