Founded in 2016 by Sonja Perkins, it is a microventure and venture capital firm that invests in seed, early stage and late stage ventures. The company looks to invest in companies that solve unmet needs with technology and marketing.

They usually invest in less than 10% of a round and may selectively consider board seats. It also offers fund raising, market strategy guidance and business strategy guidance. The Perkins fund has invested in over 35 companies. Over 50% of the Perkins Fund founders are women.
