Switch

Switch is a Wyoming-based financial technology company that has developed a rewards card known as the Switch Card. The company launched in 2020 as a partnership between banking establishments and blockchain specialists to create technology that enables users and banks to reach financial goals.

The Switch Card is a rewards card developed by the company that as of May 2022 has a waitlist in which people can sign up and gain access to the card upon release.The card acts similarly to a debit card and allows users to switch between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Basic Attention Token. The card allows for digital currencies to be stored in one place, sent to others for transactions, exchanged for fiat currencies, or spent at places that accept Visa cards.

Switch is offering three different types of rewards cards: Switch Digital, Switch Blue, and Switch Black. The Digital Card is a mobile application that can be used as a digital wallet and allows users to spend their assets at millions of merchants worldwide. The Blue Card gives users a $2,000 daily spending limit and has features such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The Black Card is the top tier of cards offered by Switch. It has a daily spending limit of $4,000 and allows users to earn double reward points.
