Swiftkey is a London-based company that creates predictive keyboard apps that learn from users, to make typing on touchscreens faster and easier. The writing and talking communication technology utilized by Stephen Hawkings was created by Swiftkey. The company was founded in 2008 and acquired by Microsoft in 2016.

Apple says that third-party keyboards installed on iOS 13.1 and iPadOS might be able to gain "full access" even if you haven't authorized this. Keyboards with full access can send data to the internet, and that could potentially include whatever it is you're typing.
