Seabin Project is a clean tech company in Mullumbimby, Australia that focuses on collecting oil and pollutants in the water. Founded 2015 in Mullumbimby, New South Wales, Australia by Pete Ceglinski and Andrew Turton, the company's Seabin, located in the water at marinas, docks, yacht clubs and commercial ports, moves up and down with the range of tide, collecting all floating rubbish. Water is sucked in from the surface and passes through a catch bag inside it, enabling nature-lovers to properly dispose rubbish and keep the ocean clean. The Seabin has a submersible water pump capable of displacing 25.000 LPH (litres per hour), plugged directly into 110/22V outlet.
Seabin Project are proud to announce their newest partnership with NSW Roads and Maritime Services at Rose Bay in Sydney. A Seabin has been placed in Rose Bay for a three month trial, with the ultimate objective of seeing if the smart technology can assist the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) in their daily duties of keeping Sydney Harbour cleaner.
